Kamui
Obito's Mangekyō Sharingan technique. He warps himself, or a target, into a separate pocket dimension — making himself intangible and effectively untouchable while it lasts.

Also known as Tobi, Masked Man, Obito, Kamui Ghost
Obito Uchiha is a shinobi of the Uchiha clan, a former teammate of Kakashi Hatake — and, for most of the series, the masked man behind the Akatsuki. A cheerful boy who dreamed of becoming Hokage, he was broken by loss into the villain known as Tobi, and turned back only at the very end.
Obito was an Uchiha boy placed on Team Minato with Kakashi Hatake and Rin Nohara. Clumsy, perpetually late, and openly kind, he was the opposite of the prodigy Kakashi in almost every way.
He dreamed, loudly, of becoming Hokage — and was quietly overlooked, both by his own clan and by a village that valued talent over heart. He was also, just as quietly, in love with his teammate Rin.
On the mission to the Kannabi Bridge, all of that ended. Obito was crushed under a rockfall saving Kakashi, and the boy he had been did not walk away from it.
Obito is the clumsy, warm-hearted member of Team Minato — late to everything, dreaming of the Hokage's hat, in love with Rin, and overlooked by the clan that should have been proud of him.
On the Kannabi Bridge mission, Obito is buried under a rockfall shielding Kakashi. He gives Kakashi his Sharingan as a parting gift — and is pulled from death by Madara, who has plans for him.
Obito escapes Madara's hideout in time to watch Rin die in front of him. The loss shatters everything he believed. He decides reality itself is the enemy — a place not worth saving, only replacing.
Obito takes up Madara's identity and the Eye of the Moon Plan. Behind the masks of the goofy "Tobi" and of "Madara" himself, he steers the Akatsuki toward a world-ending genjutsu.
Obito goes public, drags the shinobi world into the Fourth Great War, and becomes the jinchūriki of the Ten-Tails — the central threat the whole Allied force is raised against.
Naruto's refusal to give up reaches Obito where nothing else could. At the edge of death, Obito turns on the plan he built his adult life around, and gives what is left of himself to defend the world he tried to erase.
Obito spent decades preparing in the dark, and his arsenal shows it. His Mangekyō Sharingan grants Kamui, a power that makes him untouchable; Madara's reconstruction gave him Wood Release; and in the war he took the Ten-Tails itself. Beneath the powers was his sharpest weapon — a patience for deception measured in years.

Obito's dōjutsu line — from the Sharingan of his youth through to a Rinnegan he wields in the war's final stretch.
Gained from the Hashirama Senju cells Madara grafted into Obito's rebuilt body — living wood grown to pierce, bind, and overwhelm.
The form Obito takes in the Fourth Shinobi World War — host to the Ten-Tails, the source of all chakra, and the war's single greatest threat.
For more than a decade Obito hid the truth behind two masks — the goofy recruit "Tobi" and the legend "Madara" — steering whole nations without being seen.
Kakashi Hatake
Obito's Team Minato teammate and his dark mirror. Kakashi carries Obito's Sharingan, and the lesson Obito gave him at Kannabi Bridge — that those who abandon a comrade are worse than scum.
Rin Nohara
The girl Obito loved. Her death, witnessed in front of him, is the single wound the villain Tobi grew out of.
Minato Namikaze
Team Minato's sensei and the Fourth Hokage — the teacher Obito admired before loss turned him against everything Minato stood for.
Madara Uchiha
The man who saved Obito's broken body and rebuilt his mind around the Eye of the Moon Plan — a dark mentor who shaped a grieving boy into a weapon.
Naruto Uzumaki
The shinobi whose flat refusal to give up reached Obito where every argument had failed — and turned him, at the last, back toward the world.
Nagato
The Akatsuki leader Obito steered from the shadows. He found Nagato's grief after Yahiko's death and shaped it into a tool for his own plan.
Konan
Nagato's lifelong partner, who turned against Obito once she understood that the masked man had used them both.

Obito has one of the most extreme profiles on the board. His Kekkei Genkai column carries four entries — the Sharingan line, the Rinnegan, and Wood Release — a reading shared with almost no one. His Nature Types cover all five basic natures, and his Attributes stack Akatsuki member, jinchūriki, and Six Paths Sage. His Uchiha clan and Rogue rank confirm. Obito debuts at the start of Shippūden, in the Kazekage Rescue arc, so the Debut Arc arrow tends to point up.
