Narutodle Answers Archive

Every past Narutodle, replayable. 30 days up top, with deep-links back to January 2024 for anyone searching an older date.

The narutodle answers archive is the full listing of past narutodle answers from the daily puzzle. It covers the last thirty UTC days in a scannable grid, with each tile linking to a per-day page that holds the character snapshot, a difficulty read, and a first-guess retrospective built from the actual answer. Every puzzle is fully replayable.

If you're here for today's narutodle answer, that lives on a separate page that updates at UTC midnight. Today never shows up in the archive until after the rollover.

How the Archive Works

Every day the Narutodle puzzle picks one character from the 210-deep Shippūden-era pool, keyed to a UTC calendar date. The pick is deterministic — same date, same character, for every player in the world. The narutodle archive just reads back what the daily resolver produced for each past day, which is why the archive, the live puzzle, and the answers-today page never disagree about a date.

Archive replays are stored in your browser under a separate key from the live daily game. Solving an archive day feeds a practice streak that tracks independently; your live daily streak stays untouched. If you clear site data, both reset.

Answers do not repeat within seven days of each other, so the week-by-week view of the narutodle archive should always show seven distinct characters. If you notice a repeat inside a week, email contact@narutodle.app — that would be a bug in the resolver and not intended.

Using the Archive to Practice

The archive is the best tool for getting better at Narutodle, and it doesn't cost you a streak to use it. A few patterns work well:

  • Start from a fresh slate. Pick a day you haven't played, open the grid without scrolling down to the answer, and treat it like a live puzzle. The per-day page hides the reveal behind a spoiler until you click.
  • Drill a village. Filter the 30-day grid visually by village pill color, pick a day with the village you struggle on, and replay. The full roster groups every character by village.
  • Read the retrospective before replaying. Each archived day has a smart-first-guess breakdown showing which probe character would have returned the most column feedback. Learning the probe pattern once makes every future day faster.
  • Work backwards from tough days. Days with sparse attributes (no kekkei genkai, no jutsu spread, no named clan) are the hardest to narrow. The difficulty read on each tile lets you sort by challenge.

The villages that showed up most in the last month were Konohagakure (10 days), Kumogakure (3 days), and Amegakure (2 days). That mirrors the underlying roster weight — more characters means more odds of landing as a daily answer.

Older Narutodle Answers Before the 30-Day Window

The sitemap lists the last 30 days, but the resolver runs all the way back to January 2024. Any URL of the form /archive/YYYY-MM-DD resolves to that date's answer — including dates from long before you started playing. Share that link with a friend who swears they got a different answer back in March.

Narutodle Archive FAQ

  • How many days of narutodle answers does the archive keep?

The archive page shows the last 30 days of past narutodle answers. Every one of those days is fully replayable, and each links out to a per-day page with the character snapshot, difficulty note, and first-guess retrospective.

  • Do archive replays count toward my daily streak?

No. Replaying past narutodle answers tracks a separate practice streak in your browser. The live daily streak only advances when you solve today's puzzle on the homepage.

  • Can I see narutodle answers from before 30 days ago?

Yes. The archive listing covers 30 days, but any URL of the form /archive/YYYY-MM-DD back to January 2024 still resolves to the correct answer for that day. Deep links to older past narutodle answers work; they just aren't in the sitemap.

  • Are past narutodle answers the same as today's answer?

Never. Each narutodle answer is keyed to a single UTC calendar day and does not repeat within at least seven days. Today's puzzle is always a fresh pick from the 210-character pool.

  • How do you decide the narutodle answer for each day?

A deterministic shuffle seeded at January 2024 picks one character from the 210-deep pool per day. Same input, same output — which means the archive, the live puzzle, and the answers-today page all agree on every date.

Data integrity: every archive tile is generated from the same deterministic daily resolver that picks the live answer. No manual entry. Character portraits are credited to Narutopedia under CC-BY-SA 3.0. Data frozen at the end of Naruto: Shippūden.
