Also known as Konohamaru, Honorable Grandson
Konohamaru Sarutobi is a shinobi of the Sarutobi clan and the grandson of the Third Hokage. Raised in a name he never chose — "Honorable Grandson" — he set out to be known as himself, found his role model in Naruto, and grew from a scheming child into a jōnin chasing the Hokage's hat in earnest.
Konohamaru was born into Konohagakure's Sarutobi clan, the grandson of the Third Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi, and the nephew of Asuma.
His grandfather named him after the village itself. It was meant as an honour — but it set the boy apart before he could earn anything of his own.
To the villagers, Konohamaru was never quite a person. He was the "Honorable Grandson" — called by his link to the Hokage, and almost never by his name.
Konohamaru grows up the grandson of the Hokage — and pays for it. The whole village calls him "Honorable Grandson," never Konohamaru, and the boy starts to resent the title.
Wanting to be seen, Konohamaru decides on a shortcut — defeat his grandfather, take the Hokage's hat, and force the village to acknowledge him. He fails, again and again.
Konohamaru seeks out Naruto for training after hearing how Naruto beat the Hokage. The two become friends — and in Naruto, Konohamaru finds the example he had been missing.
Naruto teaches Konohamaru what no shortcut could — that a name is earned, not seized. Konohamaru stops chasing the title and starts building the shinobi worth being called by his own.
Konohamaru rises to the rank of jōnin, and learns the Rasengan — the signature technique of the shinobi he had taken as his idol.
Konohamaru takes charge of a genin team of his own, the Will of Fire carried forward. The dream of the hat is still there — but now he means to reach it the way Naruto did.
Konohamaru carries two inheritances — the Sarutobi clan's Will of Fire, and the training of Naruto Uzumaki. His ninjutsu is built on the Fire Release of his clan and a Wind nature of his own, and he came to wield the Rasengan, the technique of his idol. From a boy chasing shortcuts, he grew into a jōnin steady enough to lead a genin team.

Chūnin Exams
Konohamaru's Sarutobi clan is a strong signal — on the board, only a couple of other characters share it. His Konohagakure village and Jōnin rank trim the answer a little, his jutsu types are just Ninjutsu and Taijutsu, and his Nature Types column pairs Fire with Wind. He has no Kekkei Genkai and an empty Attributes column. He debuts in the Chūnin Exams era, an early arc, so the Debut Arc arrow points down toward him.

Everyone in this village calls me Honorable Grandson. Not one of them calls me Konohamaru. I am going to change that.
Naruto told me there are no shortcuts to being acknowledged. So I stopped looking for one and started working.
I will be Hokage. After Naruto. And when they finally say my name, it will be because I earned it.
