This is the full run of past Naruto riddles from Riddle Mode. Each entry shows the one-line clue, the character it described, and a short breakdown of what every reference pointed to. Today's riddle is never listed here — it stays on the game page until it rolls over at midnight UTC.

“I split a great beast into nine, I gave the warring world its first taste of chakra, and history remembers me as a sage of six paths.”
Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki, the Sage of Six Paths, founded ninshū and shared chakra with the world. He split the Ten-Tails into the nine tailed beasts. His mother is Kaguya Ōtsutsuki.

“I can melt my enemies with lava or corrode them with an acid mist, and I lead a village once feared as the Bloody Mist.”
Mei Terumī, the Fifth Mizukage, wields two kekkei genkai — Lava Release and Boil Release. She leads Kirigakure and works to undo its 'Bloody Mist' reputation.

“You will usually find me manning the village gate beside my lifelong partner, a strip of bandage laid across the bridge of my nose.”
Kotetsu Hagane is a Konoha chūnin almost always seen on gate or desk duty beside his partner Izumo Kamizuki. He is recognizable by his spiky dark hair and the bandage strip over his nose.

“I am a young toad with an empty stomach and a short memory, forever asking my big brother when the snacks are coming.”
Gamatatsu is the carefree younger son of Gamabunta and the younger brother of Gamakichi. He is best known for his appetite and easygoing, forgetful nature, and can spit a water bullet when he focuses.

“A single thrown blade was all I needed to stand anywhere in an instant, and my last act was to seal a beast inside my newborn son.”
Minato Namikaze, the Fourth Hokage, was nicknamed the Yellow Flash for his Flying Thunder God teleportation. He died sealing the Nine-Tails into his son, Naruto.

“I was the gentle mother of two boys, a close friend to the Fourth Hokage's wife, and I met my end the night my clan fell.”
Mikoto Uchiha was the kind mother of Itachi and Sasuke and a close friend of Kushina Uzumaki. She died in the Uchiha clan massacre.

Teuchi is the chef and owner of Ichiraku Ramen, Naruto's favourite restaurant. His daughter Ayame helps him run the stand.

Kokuō, the Five-Tailed dolphin-horse, uses Boil Release. It was sealed inside Han of the Hidden Stone.

Sasori of the Red Sand converted himself into a puppet to escape aging and death. A master of the Puppet Technique from the Hidden Sand, his partner in Akatsuki is Deidara.

“I raised my sister's son as both a medic and a friend, then I was ordered to kill him and told him his mother never loved him.”
Yashamaru was Gaara's maternal uncle and caretaker, a Sand medical-nin. On the Fourth Kazekage's order he tried to assassinate the young Gaara, telling him his late mother had hated him before self-destructing with explosive tags.

“A constant cough shadowed me, I judged the matches of the Chūnin Exam preliminaries, and I was killed for uncovering an invasion plot.”
Hayate Gekkō was a sickly, perpetually coughing Konoha jōnin who proctored the Chūnin Exam preliminaries. He was killed after discovering Suna and Oto's invasion plot.

“I am a clumsy toad who calls myself unskilled, I fight with a shield and a long forked polearm, and I stood with the Toad Sage against Pain.”
Gamaken is a samurai-like toad of Mount Myōboku who fights with a shield and a sasumata polearm, despite humbly calling himself clumsy. He aided Jiraiya against Pain.

“I am a gentle giant slug who can split into countless smaller selves, and I shielded and healed a whole village at once.”
Katsuyu is the boss slug summoned by Tsunade. She can divide into many bodies and was used to shield and heal the people of Konoha during Pain's assault.

“A swarm of nano-sized poison insects covers my skin, lethal to anyone I touch, and I served the village's hidden Root.”
Torune Aburame, an Aburame of Danzō's Root, hosted a colony of venomous nano-sized insects deadly to anyone he touched with bare skin.

“Lava answers my call, my grandfather is the village's aged leader, and one day I will inherit his hat.”
Kurotsuchi is a Hidden Stone kunoichi who uses Lava Release. She is the granddaughter of Ōnoki, the Third Tsuchikage, and later succeeds him.

“A nine-tailed fox sleeps behind my navel, ramen is my one true weakness, and I never let go of the hat my father once wore.”
Naruto Uzumaki carries Kurama, the Nine-Tails, sealed inside his stomach. He is obsessed with ramen and spends the series chasing the title his father Minato held — a goal he reaches as the Seventh Hokage.

“I was my village's hero until they sold me out as bait, and my touch could mummify a body by boiling away its water.”
Pakura was the Hidden Sand's celebrated Hero of the Sand, wielding Scorch Release to evaporate the moisture from her targets. Her own village betrayed her, handing her to the Mist as bait, and she was later reincarnated through the Impure World Reincarnation.

“I write novels no child should open, I ride a mountain-sized toad, and I once trained the orphan who would take my life.”
Jiraiya, the Toad Sage and a Legendary Sannin, wrote the Make-Out novels and summoned giant toads. He trained Nagato, a war orphan from the Hidden Rain who, as Pain, later killed him.

“I once fled the ninja path in disgrace, then ran a grueling cross-country race to redeem my brother's name and my own.”
Idate Morino is the younger brother of Ibiki Morino, Konoha's chief interrogator. After leaving the ninja world under a cloud, he took part in the Todoroki Shrine race in the Land of Tea, where he found his resolve again.

“I have terrible luck at the gambling table, I can heal almost any wound, and a violet seal rests on my brow.”
Tsunade, a Legendary Sannin and the Fifth Hokage, is a famously unlucky gambler and the finest medical ninja alive. Her Strength of a Hundred Seal sits on her forehead, and her grandfather Hashirama founded Konoha.

“I can leap my mind into another body, and I served the village's hidden Root beside an insect-covered partner.”
Fū Yamanaka, a Yamanaka of Danzō's Root, used his clan's mind-transfer techniques. He was partnered with Torune Aburame.

“I am the vast, ill-tempered king of the snakes, and I demand a hundred sacrifices for every time I am called.”
Manda is the enormous, hostile boss snake summoned by Orochimaru, who demanded offerings of sacrifices in return for his cooperation.

Hamura Ōtsutsuki, twin brother of Hagoromo, was the progenitor of the Byakugan and the Hyūga clan. He took up watch over the moon.

Ibiki Morino heads Konoha's Torture and Interrogation Force. As the first-stage Chūnin Exam proctor, his written test was really a psychological trap built on intimidation.

“I am the chief of the toads, I smoke a pipe as long as a tree, and a young ninja once rode my head into battle against a tailed beast.”
Gamabunta is the chief toad of Mount Myōboku, summoned by Jiraiya and later Naruto. He famously helped a young Naruto fight Shukaku.

“I dreamed of becoming Hokage and my sister gave me her necklace for luck, but I died in battle the day after I turned twelve.”
Nawaki was the younger brother of Tsunade, who dreamed of becoming Hokage. He was killed in battle the day after his twelfth birthday.

Ino Yamanaka uses her clan's Mind Body Switch to take over an enemy's body. She helps run the Yamanaka flower shop and forms the Ino-Shika-Cho trio with Shikamaru and Choji.

“I died moments after my youngest was born, and the love I left behind still rises as sand to shield him from harm.”
Karura was the wife of the Fourth Kazekage and mother of Gaara, Temari, and Kankurō. She died shortly after Gaara's birth, and her motherly will is said to live on in the sand that automatically protects Gaara.

“I was born into the branch that serves, I once believed fate could never be changed, and a seal on my forehead marked my place.”
Neji Hyuga was born into the Hyuga branch house, bound to serve the main house and marked with a cursed seal. Once a fatalist, he came to believe destiny can be changed. His cousin is Hinata.

“I work as a sensor, yet behind my eyepatch I hide a stolen white eye I took from a fallen enemy in war.”
Ao is a Hidden Mist jōnin and sensor who carries a transplanted Byakugan behind an eyepatch, taken from a Hyūga he defeated. He serves as a bodyguard to Mei Terumi, the Fifth Mizukage.
