This is the full run of past Naruto riddles from Riddle Mode. Each entry shows the one-line clue, the character it described, and a short breakdown of what every reference pointed to. Today's riddle is never listed here — it stays on the game page until it rolls over at midnight UTC.

Rōshi was the jinchūriki of Son Gokū, the Four-Tails, and used Lava Release. A wanderer from the Hidden Stone, he was hunted down by the Akatsuki.

Konohamaru Sarutobi, grandson of the Third Hokage, idolized Naruto as both rival and teacher, eventually learning the Rasengan.

Udon is the bespectacled boy of the Konohamaru Ninja Squad, the trio of students who admired Naruto. He is known for his perpetually runny nose and his calm, studious manner.

Suigetsu Hōzuki, of the Hidden Mist's Hōzuki clan, can liquefy his body. He aims to collect all seven swords of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen and joined Sasuke's team, Taka.

Utakata was the jinchūriki of Saiken, the Six-Tails — a rogue from the Hidden Mist who fought with deceptively dangerous bubble techniques.

Karin is a sensor of Uzumaki blood who detects chakra at great range. Her bite restores the chakra and wounds of whoever takes it. She served Orochimaru, then joined Sasuke's team, Taka.

Dodai is a veteran Hidden Stone jōnin who wields Lava Release in a rubbery form that deflects attacks. He served as a commander during the Fourth Shinobi World War under Ōnoki.

“They called me the Professor, for I was said to know every technique in my village, and I wore the hat longer than anyone before or after me.”
Hiruzen Sarutobi, the Third Hokage, was nicknamed the Professor for reportedly mastering every jutsu in the village. He served the longest of any Hokage.

Jūzō Biwa was a member of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist who wielded the Kubikiribōchō, the executioner's blade later carried by Zabuza. He joined Akatsuki, was partnered with Kisame, and was killed in the line of duty.

Orochimaru, a Legendary Sannin, summons snakes and transfers his mind into new host bodies in his pursuit of immortality. He founded the Hidden Sound Village to carry out his experiments.

“Nine tails sweep behind me, my old hatred of humans once burned villages to ash, and I have been sealed inside one host after another.”
Kurama is the Nine-Tailed Fox, strongest of the tailed beasts. Long consumed by hatred of humans, it was sealed across several jinchūriki before finally bonding with Naruto.

Gengetsu Hōzuki, the Second Mizukage, used a giant clam summon to create flawless, lethal illusions.

Jirōbō, the bulkiest of Orochimaru's Sound Four, used Earth Release and could absorb an enemy's chakra. He guarded the Hidden Sound.

Yahiko was a war orphan from the Hidden Rain who founded the original Akatsuki with Nagato and Konan. After his death, Nagato used his corpse as the Deva Path — the public face of 'Pain'.

Elder Chiyo of the Hidden Sand was a master puppeteer and the grandmother of Sasori. She sacrificed her life to revive Gaara after the Akatsuki extracted his tailed beast.

Shisui Uchiha, nicknamed 'Shisui of the Teleportation', possessed Kotoamatsukami, a genjutsu that controls a target undetected. He entrusted an eye to his friend Itachi before his death.

Chōza Akimichi, father of Chōji, uses the Akimichi clan's body-expansion techniques. He formed an Ino-Shika-Chō trio in his own generation.

Yūkimaru is a frail, kind-hearted boy with a rare ability to control the Three-Tails. He was used by Guren and Orochimaru in their plot to capture the tailed beast, and he shares a quiet bond with Naruto.

Itachi Uchiha killed the Uchiha clan under secret orders to stop a planned coup, sparing only his brother Sasuke. He joined Akatsuki as a double agent and died a misunderstood hero.

Mito Uzumaki was the first jinchūriki of Kurama, the Nine-Tails, and the wife of Hashirama Senju, the First Hokage.

Gyūki, the Eight-Tailed ox-octopus, shares a genuine partnership with its host, Killer B of the Hidden Cloud.

Fukasaku is the elder toad sage of Mount Myōboku, known as Pa. He taught Senjutsu and Sage Mode to Jiraiya, and later to Naruto, and can fuse onto a user's shoulder to help balance natural energy.

Konan, the Angel of the Hidden Rain, can turn her body into sheets of paper. She was the lifelong companion of fellow war orphans Nagato and Yahiko.

Ōnoki, the Third Tsuchikage, is an aged leader who flies and wields the rare Dust Release, able to disintegrate matter at the molecular level. His past indecision earned him the nickname 'Fence-Sitter'.

Shira is a Hidden Sand shinobi who specializes entirely in taijutsu, unusual for his village. Unable to use ninjutsu, he still proves himself a formidable close-range fighter who values hard work over natural talent.

Jūgo suffers uncontrollable, body-warping rage — the original source of Orochimaru's cursed seal. Only Kimimaro could calm him. He joined Sasuke's team, Taka.

Nagato, an Uzumaki orphan from the Hidden Rain, wields the Rinnegan. Acting as Pain, he controlled six corpses — the Six Paths of Pain — and sought to force peace by making the world share his suffering.

Guren is the sole known user of Crystal Release, able to crystallize matter and chakra. She served Orochimaru as a prized subordinate.

Kō Hyūga is a member of the Hyūga branch family who served as Hinata's caretaker and bodyguard from her childhood. Like all Hyūga, he wields the Byakugan, and he is fiercely protective of his charge.

Gaara controls sand effortlessly and was once the jinchuriki of Shukaku, the One-Tail. Feared and isolated as a child, he grows into the Fifth Kazekage of the Hidden Sand.
