   Years later Hiashi gives Neji the letter Hizashi left behind. The truth — that his father died by choice, out of love and not obligation — breaks the creed that fate is fixed, and sets Neji free.

Hizashi was a jōnin every bit the equal of his twin in skill, held back only by the seal on his brow. He fought with the Hyūga's two pillars — the all-seeing Byakugan and the Gentle Fist that strikes a body's chakra points — backed by Fire and Water nature transformation.
