Steam Armour
Han's signature gear — a suit of armour with a furnace on its back, storing large volumes of steam for battle.

Also known as Five-Tails Jinchūriki, Steam Ninja
Han is a shinobi of Iwagakure and the jinchūriki of the Five-Tails, Kokuō. Known across the shinobi world as the Steam Ninja, he fought in a furnace-fitted suit of armour that turned his beast's Boil Release into raw, scalding strength — a lively, direct man behind the steam.
Han was a shinobi of Iwagakure, the Hidden Stone — and the jinchūriki of the Five-Tails, Kokuō.
He made his name in the Third Shinobi World War. Across the shinobi world, Han became known for his prowess with steam ninjutsu — the Steam Ninja.
That name was earned through a single, distinctive piece of gear: a suit of armour fitted with a furnace, built to turn a tailed beast's heat into a weapon.
Han wins worldwide fame in the Third Shinobi World War. The skill that earns it is unmistakable — steam ninjutsu, fought in a furnace-fitted suit of armour.
Han's armour carries a furnace that stores great volumes of steam — steam drawn from Kokuō's Boil Release, the boiling of fire and water chakra to its hottest point.
For all the heavy armour, Han himself is open and amicable — a lively, direct man, friendly enough that meeting him is nothing like facing the Steam Ninja in battle.
At some point before the Fourth Shinobi World War, Han dies. The exact circumstances are never made plain — only that the Steam Ninja's story had reached its quiet, unmarked close.
Kabuto Yakushi acquires Han's DNA and reanimates him by Edo Tensei — turning the Steam Ninja, against any will of his own, against the living.
Reanimated, Han sees how Naruto Uzumaki treats Kurama and Son Gokū — with kindness, not chains. Even as a corpse turned to a weapon, the warm, direct man takes a liking to him for it.
Han fought with steam and with his fists. His armour carried a furnace storing great volumes of steam, generated by Kokuō's Boil Release — the fusion of fire and water chakra boiled to its highest heat. By regulating the steam's pressure, Han could hugely magnify his physical strength, and his style was built on taijutsu: every blow driven by the furnace on his back.

Han's combat style is built on hand-to-hand fighting — taijutsu, with the furnace's force behind every strike.

Han's Jinchūriki attribute is a strong signal — a short list of characters on the board carry it. His Boil Release is a rare Kekkei Genkai hit, his Iwagakure village is uncommon, and his Jōnin rank trims the answer a little. His Nature Types column pairs Fire with Water. He has no clan. He debuts in the Kazekage Rescue era, mid-series, so the Debut Arc arrow can point either way.

They called me the Steam Ninja. Fair enough — but the steam is the armour's. The man inside it is just Han.
Open the furnace, raise the pressure, and every punch I throw lands like a falling boulder. Simple. Direct. I like it that way.
The Uzumaki boy treats Kurama like a friend, not a weapon. The rest of us hosts noticed. It is hard not to like a man for that.
