   Itachi Uchiha catches Kabuto in the infinite loop of Izanami, holding him until he accepts who he truly is. Freed of the need to be anyone else, Kabuto returns to Konoha to run its orphanage.

Kabuto's power was assembled, not inherited — gathered across a life spent absorbing other people's gifts. He was a master medical ninja and a sharp sensor before he ever met Orochimaru. After his master's death he remade his own body from absorbed remains, learned Sage Mode at Ryūchi Cave, and took the forbidden Edo Tensei further than the man who had taught it to him.
