Also known as Fourth Raikage, Raikage, Ay
A is the Fourth Raikage of Kumogakure, a leader famed across the shinobi world for raw strength and lightning speed. Wrapped in a crackling armor of his own electricity, he fought with brute power refined into an art — and in the Fourth Shinobi World War, he led the Allied Shinobi Forces as their supreme commander.
A was born to the Third Raikage of Kumogakure, the Hidden Cloud, and groomed from childhood to one day take the title himself.
Kumogakure wanted A to have a tag-team partner who could keep pace with his enormous strength. The village searched for a long time, putting child after child through the test, and finding no one.
At last, one child matched him — strong enough to use the Lightning Release: Double Lariat at A's side. A named that child B, and declared from that day that the two of them were brothers.
A is born to the Third Raikage and raised from the start to inherit the title. The hat of Kumogakure is not a hope for him but an expectation — a thing he is built toward.
Kumogakure searches for a partner strong enough to fight beside A, and finds only one — a child who can hold his own. A names him B, and the two are brothers from that day on.
A takes the hat as the Fourth Raikage. He rules Kumogakure as a fighter rules — direct, hot-tempered, and faster than almost anyone alive, his name spoken alongside his speed.
When Sasuke Uchiha attacks Killer B, A storms the Five Kage Summit demanding justice and fights Sasuke himself. The clash, and Sasuke's Amaterasu, leaves A without his left arm.
A has little reason to trust a Leaf jinchūriki — but Naruto Uzumaki earns it. Slowly, against his own temper, A comes to believe in the boy and lets him join the war.
In the Fourth Shinobi World War, A is named supreme commander of the Allied Shinobi Forces — the hot-headed leader of one village now leading an alliance of them all.
A fought with the simplest tools in the shinobi world — strength and speed — and refined them until almost no one could survive the combination. His Lightning Release Armor turned his own electricity into both a weapon and a shield, and the lightning chakra running through him sped his reflexes to a level the series reserved for its very fastest. Even one-armed, he never stopped being one of its most dangerous fighters.
A surrounds his body with a continuous surge of his own electricity, sharply raising his strength, speed, durability, and reflexes.
The armor's lightning chakra speeds A's nervous system, pushing his reflexes near the level of Minato Namikaze.
A's fusion of ninjutsu and taijutsu — the raw power of his Lightning Chakra Mode delivered as bludgeoning physical strikes.
A brutal slamming throw, driving an opponent headfirst into the ground — one of A's signature finishing techniques.
After the loss of his left arm at the Summit, A fights on undiminished — adapting his whole style around the wound.
Killer B
The brother A chose — the jinchūriki of the Eight-Tails, and the person A would cross any line to protect.
Third Raikage
A's father, the Raikage before him, whose hat A was raised from childhood to one day take.
Sasuke Uchiha
The rogue Uchiha who attacked Killer B. A's clash with him at the Five Kage Summit cost A his left arm.
Minato Namikaze
The one shinobi A measured his own famous speed against — and the one he could never quite catch.
Naruto Uzumaki
The Leaf's jinchūriki. A had every reason to distrust him, and Naruto earned that trust anyway.
Mabui
A's attendant in Kumogakure, and the user of the Heavenly Transfer Technique that moved allies across the battlefield.

Five Kage Summit
A's Kumogakure village is uncommon and narrows the board, and his Kage rank narrows it again — the pairing is a strong one. His Nature Types column is Lightning-led, with Earth and Yang alongside. He has no clan, no Kekkei Genkai, and an empty Attributes column, so three columns stay grey on him. He debuts in the Five Kage Summit arc, late in the series, so the Debut Arc arrow points up toward him.

Speed is not a trick. Speed is the whole of it. By the time you have decided to block, the Raikage has already hit you.
B is my brother. Touch him, and there is no village, no summit, no treaty that will keep me off you.
I did not believe in the Leaf's jinchūriki. Naruto changed my mind. That is not a thing I say lightly.
