Storm Release
A Kekkei Genkai fusing Lightning and Water — Darui fires controllable beams of light that pursue a target with precision.
ダルイ · 达鲁伊
Also known as Raikage's Right Hand
Darui is a shinobi of Kumogakure and the right-hand man of the Fourth Raikage. A student of the Third Raikage who alone inherited his Black Lightning, Darui wields the rare Storm Release, finds nearly everything "dull" — and would, in time, take up the Raikage's hat himself.
Darui was a shinobi of Kumogakure, the Hidden Cloud — a calm, dependable figure in a village that prized raw strength.
He trained under the Third Raikage, the legendary leader held to be the strongest the village ever had. From that teacher, Darui inherited a rare and singular technique: Black Lightning.
In time, Darui became the right hand of the Fourth Raikage, A — the trusted aide who stood at the Raikage's side through summit and war.
Darui trains under the Third Raikage — the strongest leader the Hidden Cloud ever had — and is the one shinobi the Third passes his unique Black Lightning down to.
Darui rises to become the trusted right hand of the Fourth Raikage, A — the calm, capable aide the hot-tempered Raikage relies on through every crisis.
Darui carries two uncommon powers — the Storm Release Kekkei Genkai, which fires steerable beams of light, and the Black Lightning none but he inherited.
In the Fourth Shinobi World War, Darui is trusted with command — leading a division of the Allied Shinobi Forces through the war's hardest fighting.
Darui carries the Third Raikage's signature Black Lightning alone — its sole inheritor, and so the only living keeper of a legendary leader's technique.
By the close of the story, Darui stands on the path A walked before him — the right hand set to one day take up the hat as the next Raikage of Kumogakure.
Darui fights calm, and fights with lightning in two forms. His Storm Release fuses lightning and water into beams of light he can steer in flight, pursuing a target until they connect. His Black Lightning — the Third Raikage's own technique, inherited by Darui alone — charges his blade and shapes itself into a striking black panther. Behind both sits the polished lightning ninjutsu of a Kumo elite.

Five Kage Summit
Darui's Storm Release is the giveaway — a Kekkei Genkai column hit almost unique to him on the board. His Kumogakure village is uncommon and narrows the answer, and his Jōnin rank trims it a little. His Nature Types column pairs Lightning with Water. He has no clan and an empty Attributes column. He debuts in the Five Kage Summit arc, late in the series, so the Debut Arc arrow points up toward him.

Dull. The summit's dull, the speeches are dull, the war is dull. Doing my job well, though — that I can manage.
The Third Raikage taught his Black Lightning to one student. I do not take it lightly that the one was me.
