Hashirama's inborn kekkei genkai. He grows forests, fortresses, and binding wood with a thought — a power no other shinobi in the series was born with.

Also known as First Hokage, God of Shinobi, Senju Clan Head
Hashirama Senju is the First Hokage of Konohagakure and the founder of the Hidden Leaf. Hailed as the God of Shinobi for power no one of his age could match, he ended generations of clan war by building, with his rival Madara Uchiha, the first hidden village.
Hashirama was born in the Warring States period, the eldest of Butsuma Senju's four sons. He was a child soldier in the endless war between the Senju and their rivals, the Uchiha, and he watched brothers die in it.
What set him apart was a refusal to accept that this was simply how the world worked. Hashirama dreamed, openly, of a place where children would not be sent to fight and die.
He found someone who shared that dream — a boy he met by a river, throwing stones across the water. It was Madara Uchiha, of the enemy clan, and their friendship became the seed of everything Hashirama would build.
Hashirama grows up a child soldier, the eldest Senju son in a war with no end in sight. He buries brothers young, and refuses to believe the fighting is simply the way of things.
Hashirama befriends Madara, a boy of the enemy Uchiha, before either knows the other's name. They share one dream — a village where children are not sent to die — and carry it even after the friendship is forced to break.
Hashirama becomes head of the Senju clan and leads it through the grinding war, all the while looking for a way to end it that does not mean wiping the Uchiha out.
Hashirama makes peace with the Uchiha and, with Madara, founds Konohagakure — the first hidden village. He becomes its First Hokage, and the dream of a peaceful childhood finally has a place to stand.
Madara comes to believe the village betrayed the Uchiha and turns against it. Hashirama will not let him destroy what they built — and kills his oldest friend at the Valley of the End, with grief, not triumph.
Hashirama dies, but the Will of Fire he planted — the village as one family — outlasts him by generations. He returns once more, reanimated, to fight in the Fourth Shinobi World War.
Hashirama was called the God of Shinobi, and the title was not flattery. He was the one shinobi born with Wood Release, he could subdue Tailed Beasts where others could only run from them, and the Senju life force in him was deep enough to fight Madara for a full day and night and still stand.
Hashirama's inborn kekkei genkai. He grows forests, fortresses, and binding wood with a thought — a power no other shinobi in the series was born with.
Hashirama gathers natural energy into his already-immense power, sharpening every stat far past a normal shinobi's ceiling.
The rare ability to subdue and command Tailed Beasts. It is the gift that made Hashirama unmatched, and the reason the village's beasts were his to distribute.
A full forest grown in an instant, vast enough to swallow a battlefield whole and bind everything standing on it.
A life force so deep that Hashirama fought Madara for a day and a night without rest, and was still on his feet at the end.
Madara Uchiha
Childhood friend, lifelong rival, and co-founder of Konoha. When Madara turned on the village, Hashirama struck down his oldest friend to protect the dream they had built together.
Tobirama Senju
Hashirama's younger brother, who became the Second Hokage. Where Hashirama trusted, Tobirama doubted — a balance the village relied on.
Tsunade
Hashirama's granddaughter, who became the Fifth Hokage. She inherited his will toward the village — and his famously poor luck at gambling.
Hiruzen Sarutobi
The student Hashirama and Tobirama trained, who carried the Will of Fire forward as the Third Hokage.
Butsuma Senju
Hashirama's father and the head of the Senju clan before him — a hard man of the Warring States, and the war Hashirama meant to end.
Mito Uzumaki
Hashirama's wife, of the Uzumaki clan, and the first jinchūriki of the Nine-Tails — a partnership that bound two great clans together.
Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki
The Sage of Six Paths. Hashirama is the reincarnation of Hagoromo's younger son, Asura — a lineage of peace set against Madara's of conflict.

Fourth Shinobi World War
Hashirama is one of the sharpest answers on the board. His Wood Release in the Kekkei Genkai column is the giveaway — he is the one character born with it naturally, not granted it. His Senju clan is among the rarest clan readings, and his Kage rank narrows further. He debuts in the very last arc, the Fourth Shinobi World War, so the Debut Arc arrow almost always points up toward him.
