Super Expansion
Enlarging his entire body to colossal size, trading subtlety for overwhelming strength and reach.
秋道チョウザ · 秋道丁座
Also known as Choza, Chōji's Father
Chōza Akimichi is the head of the Akimichi clan and the father of Chōji. A mountain of a man with a gentler heart than almost anyone in the village, he turns calories into raw size and power, fights as one third of the Ino–Shika–Chō formation, and taught his son that real strength starts with a kind heart.
Chōza leads the Akimichi, a Konoha clan that converts food into chakra and chakra into sheer size. Where some clans guard secret eyes or shadows, the Akimichi guard their appetite — it is the fuel everything else runs on.
For all his bulk, Chōza is among the kindest people in the village. He is patient, generous, and slow to anger, and he raised Chōji to believe that a warm heart matters more than a strong arm — a lesson his son took deeply to heart.
He is one third of an Ino–Shika–Chō trio with Shikaku and Inoichi, the same formation their children would inherit. Unlike his two partners, Chōza would live through the Fourth Shinobi World War, coming home from the fighting that took them.
Chōza leads the Akimichi, the clan whose techniques turn calories into size and strength. A giant of a man, he carries the role with warmth rather than weight.
The Akimichi convert stored food energy into chakra, then into raw mass. Chōza can swell to enormous size, roll through an enemy line as a human tank, or call on the clan's pills for a desperate burst of strength.
Chōza raised Chōji to value kindness over force, telling him that the size of a person's heart matters more than the size of their fists. It is the belief that carries Chōji through his hardest fights.
With Shikaku and Inoichi, Chōza forms an Ino–Shika–Chō team, the three clans fighting as one. Their children — Chōji, Shikamaru, and Ino — would carry the same formation forward.
When the Fourth Shinobi World War breaks out, Chōza fights among the Allied Forces. The battle costs him his two oldest friends, but he comes through it himself.
Chōza lives to see Chōji grow into exactly the kind of person he raised him to be — strong where it counts, and kind first. For a father, there is no better outcome.
The Akimichi turn calories into raw mass and force, and Chōza is a master of it. He can grow to colossal size, roll through a battlefield as a living tank, and burn through the clan's pills for power when a fight demands everything. Fire, Earth, and Yang nature round out a clan head's strength.

Chūnin Exams
Chōza's Clan column reads Akimichi, narrowing the board to a small family at once. His Nature Types column runs Fire, Earth, and Yang, with the Yang entry tied to his body-expansion arts and rare across the roster. He has no Kekkei Genkai and no special Attributes, reads as a Konoha jōnin, and debuts in the Chūnin Exams arc. Unlike his trio partners, his Vital Status hint would read alive.
