   Anko supervises the second stage of the Konoha Chūnin Exams, the Forest of Death — and it is there, examining the dead, that she uncovers Orochimaru's infiltration of the exams.

   Anko serves Konohagakure as a tokubetsu jōnin and an Academy teacher. The seal is still on her neck — but her loyalty belongs to the village, not to the man who put it there.

Anko fights fast, aggressive, and snake-styled — the unmistakable mark of the teacher she would rather forget. She summons and looses snakes, weaves ninjutsu, genjutsu, and the blade with the broad reach of a special jōnin, and carries the fūinjutsu to bind an enemy or counter Orochimaru's own arts. The Cursed Seal of Heaven sits on her neck, survived but never truly mastered.
