The Giant Iron Fan

Also known as Wind User, Sand Siblings
Temari is a kunoichi of Sunagakure and the eldest of the Three Sand Siblings. A Wind Release specialist who fights with a giant iron fan, she pairs raw power with a strategist's cold patience — and by the Fourth Shinobi World War she was named the finest wind user in her entire division.
Temari was born in Sunagakure, a daughter of the Fourth Kazekage, and raised inside the Hidden Sand's hard, unforgiving shinobi training.
She is the eldest of the Sand Siblings — sister to Kankurō, and to Gaara, the youngest, the brother the whole village had learned to fear.
Growing up beside an unstable Gaara taught Temari to be careful before she was anything else. She learned early to stay calm, to read a room, and to keep her own counsel.
Temari grows up in Sunagakure, a child of the Fourth Kazekage, put through the village's gruelling training. As the eldest of three, she learns to carry weight before she is grown.
Temari enters the Konoha Chūnin Exams. Against Shikamaru Nara she stays perfectly composed — measuring the reach of his shadow and never once stepping inside it — and takes the match.
For years, Temari lives beside a Gaara nobody can predict — a brother and a danger at once. It is the one shadow over her steady life, and she carries it quietly until he changes.
As Sunagakure and Konohagakure draw closer, Temari becomes a regular envoy between them — the steady, trusted figure who keeps two allied villages talking to each other.
In the Fourth Shinobi World War, Temari is named the strongest Wind Release user in her division — and proves it, landing real damage on the Third Raikage, whose body almost nothing could hurt.
Temari ends the series at peace, her life threaded through both Sunagakure and Konohagakure — a quiet proof that the old walls between villages no longer have to hold.
Temari fights from a distance, and she fights having already thought it through. Her giant iron fan turns wind into a weapon that can flatten a forest, and the three "moons" along its length let her dial that power up step by step. But the fan is only half of her — the other half is a strategist's mind that reads an opponent's range and weakness before the first gust ever lands.
Temari's signature weapon, marked with three purple "moons." Each moon she opens raises the power of the wind she sends out.
Gusts strong enough to level a forest, and slicing whirlwinds Temari steers across the battlefield with her chakra.
A cutting blade of compressed wind, swung from the fan to strike an enemy at long range.
Temari summons Kamatari, a one-eyed wind-scythe weasel that sweeps an entire area clear in a single pass.
Temari's strategist's mind — calculating an opponent's range and weakness, and committing only once the maths is done.
Gaara
Her youngest brother — the boy Sunagakure feared, and the man who grew into its Kazekage. Temari watched both.
Kankurō
Her brother, the puppeteer of the family. The three of them — Temari, Kankurō, and Gaara — are the Sand Siblings.
Rasa
The Fourth Kazekage, Temari's father, who raised his three children first and foremost as weapons of the village.
Shikamaru Nara
The Konoha strategist who first matched wits with her in the Chūnin Exams, and grew over the years into the person closest to her.
Baki
The Sunagakure jōnin who trained and led the Sand Siblings as their teacher.
Tenten
The Konoha weapons specialist Temari overwhelmed in the Chūnin Exam rounds — a one-sided early match.

Temari's Nature Types column holds only Wind — a clean single-nature reading that narrows the board well. Her Sunagakure village trims it further, and her Jōnin rank trims a little more. She has no clan, no Kekkei Genkai, and an empty Attributes column, so three columns stay grey on her. She debuts in the Chūnin Exams, an early arc, so the Debut Arc arrow points down toward her.

Rushing in is how you lose. I will know your range, your weakness, and your next move before I open this fan.
Gaara is my brother. Whatever he was, whatever he became — I never once stopped being that.
Sand and Leaf used to count each other as enemies. Look at us now. I would rather build that than guard a wall.
