Nine-Tails Chakra Cloak
The fox chakra in his body, enough to swell into a primitive beast-cloak transformation in battle.
キンカク · 金角
Also known as Gold Brother, Kinkaku Force
Kinkaku was the elder of the Gold and Silver Brothers, rogue ninja of the Hidden Cloud. As a boy he and his brother were swallowed by the Nine-Tails and survived two weeks inside it by eating its flesh, coming out carrying the fox's chakra. Armed with the Sage of Six Paths' Treasured Tools, the pair became a threat few could match.
Kinkaku and his brother Ginkaku were rogues of the Hidden Cloud's early days, infamous long before the era of the main story. They were strong enough that Kumo could neither fully control them nor easily be rid of them.
The source of that strength is one of the strangest stories in the world: the brothers were swallowed whole by the Nine-Tails and survived two weeks in its stomach by eating the beast's flesh. They came out alive, and carrying a portion of the fox's own chakra.
On top of that, they wielded the Treasured Tools said to belong to the Sage of Six Paths — five relics so demanding that an ordinary ninja who merely touches one is drained dry in seconds. Between the fox chakra and the tools, Kinkaku and Ginkaku were a pair built for overwhelming force.
Kinkaku is the Gold to his brother's Silver, the elder of a duo whose name carried weight in the Hidden Cloud generations before the main story. Together the two were a force the village struggled to contain.
Swallowed whole by the Nine-Tails, the brothers spent two weeks inside its stomach and survived by eating its flesh. They emerged alive, carrying a share of the fox's chakra in their own bodies.
Kinkaku and Ginkaku wield the five Treasured Tools tied to the Sage of Six Paths. The relics are so draining that an ordinary ninja who touches one is emptied of chakra in seconds — but the brothers have chakra to spare.
For all their power, the brothers were never loyal. They turned against the Hidden Cloud, becoming rogues whose ambition outran any allegiance to the village that raised them.
Reincarnated for the Fourth Shinobi World War, the pair fight again. When Ginkaku is sealed away in the Crimson Gourd, Kinkaku gives in to the fox chakra and swells into a primitive beast-cloak form.
Even the beast-cloak is not enough. The Allied sealing team turns the brothers' own treasured tools against him and traps Kinkaku, ending the threat of the Gold and Silver Brothers for good.
Kinkaku's power comes from two sources most ninja never touch: the Nine-Tails' chakra in his body and the Sage of Six Paths' Treasured Tools in his hands. The first gives him a vast reserve and a beast-cloak; the second gives the brothers a sealing trap almost no one escapes. Backed by Fire and Water nature, he fights to overwhelm.

Fourth Shinobi World War
Kinkaku is a Cloud rogue, so his Village reads Kumo and his Ninja Rank reads Rogue, with no clan and no Kekkei Genkai. The standout is his Attributes column, which pairs Edo Tensei with Jinchūriki — unusual for a character who is not a named tailed-beast host, and the tell that points to the fox chakra in him. His Nature Types column is Fire and Water, where his brother Ginkaku reads Lightning and Water. He debuts in the Fourth Shinobi World War, so the Debut Arc arrow points up.
