Immense Chakra
Kurama holds a reserve of chakra so vast it can level landscapes and overwhelm whole armies on its own.

Also known as Nine-Tails, Kyūbi, Nine-Tailed Fox, Kurama Kitsune
Kurama is the Nine-Tails, the strongest of the nine tailed beasts. For centuries it was hunted, feared, and used as a weapon of war — a fate that taught it to hate humans completely. Sealed across three generations of Uzumaki jinchūriki, it finally found, in Naruto, the first person who treated it as a partner rather than a tool.
Kurama came into being in the final days of Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki, the Sage of Six Paths, who used his Creation of All Things to split the chakra of the Ten-Tails into nine separate beasts — and gave each of them a name.
Kurama was the strongest of the nine. For centuries it roamed free, subjugated by no one, the most powerful tailed beast in the world.
But it was never seen as a being. To the humans who hunted it, Kurama was a mindless monster and a prize — a weapon to be chained and pointed. Centuries of that taught the Nine-Tails to hate humankind entirely.
Kurama is created when Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki divides the Ten-Tails' chakra into nine beasts. He does not make weapons — he gives each a name, Kurama among them, and a self to go with it.
For centuries Kurama roams free as the strongest of the nine — and is treated, the whole time, as a mindless monster. No one asks what it is. They only try to catch it.
Madara Uchiha controls Kurama with the Sharingan and turns it against Hashirama Senju. From then on the Nine-Tails is a thing to be sealed and aimed — a village's power, not a creature.
Kurama is sealed through three Uzumaki — Mito, then Kushina, then the newborn Naruto. Behind every seal it rages, its hatred of humans only hardening with each new cage.
Naruto first overcomes Kurama's hatred by force, mastering its chakra. But the real change comes when he treats the Nine-Tails as a being with a name — something no human had ever done.
When Kurama sees that Naruto knows its name, and means its freedom, the hatred finally breaks. The two become true partners — and fight, side by side, to save the world together.
Kurama is the strongest of the nine tailed beasts, and its power is measured in scale. Its chakra reserve is vast enough to flatten landscapes and overwhelm armies, and condensed into a single blast it becomes a Tailed Beast Ball. But Kurama's deepest power was always its will — the hatred or the trust behind the chakra, which decided whether that chakra burned its host or carried him.

A sphere of condensed positive and negative chakra, fired as a single devastating blast.
The glowing cloak Naruto wears once the two cooperate — Kurama's power shared freely, without the old cost.
Kurama is named the most powerful of all nine tailed beasts, the Ten-Tails' chakra at its most concentrated.
Kurama's emotions are a force in themselves, shaping the chakra it lends — or denies — to whoever holds it.

Kurama's Tailed Beast attribute is the giveaway — a column hit that only the nine tailed beasts on the board share. Its Village column reads None, its Ninja Rank reads None, and it has no clan and no Kekkei Genkai, so four columns turn grey at once. Its Nature Types column runs Fire, Wind, Yin, and Yang. It debuts in the Prologue, the earliest arc, so the Debut Arc arrow points down toward it.

For a thousand years, not one of you asked my name. You only asked how to chain me.
