Tailed Beast Ball
Gyūki's blast of condensed chakra — fired in volleys, as a wave, or supercharged to many times its own size.

Also known as Eight-Tails, Hachibi, Octo-Bull, Killer B's Partner
Gyūki is the Eight-Tails, the second strongest of the nine tailed beasts. An ox-headed, octopus-bodied creature once infamous in Kumogakure for its rampages, it became — in Killer B — the first tailed beast in history to truly befriend its jinchūriki, a partnership that would later be the model for Naruto and Kurama.
Gyūki is one of the nine tailed beasts, created when Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki split the chakra of the Ten-Tails into nine separate creatures and gave each a name.
Its form is an ushi-oni — a creature out of folklore with the horned head of a bull and the body of an octopus, its lower half made of eight tentacle tails.
For a long time, Gyūki was infamous in Kumogakure. Every host before Killer B failed to control it, and the Eight-Tails rampaged each time — a beast that hated the humans who kept sealing it away.
Gyūki comes into being when Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki divides the Ten-Tails into nine beasts. Like its siblings, it is given a name and a self — not made a weapon, but made a being.
For generations, Gyūki is infamous in Kumogakure. Every jinchūriki before Killer B loses control of it, and the Eight-Tails rampages — a creature whose hatred of its captors only deepens.
Gyūki is sealed, broken loose, and sealed again, host after host. To the Eight-Tails, humans are only the ones who chain it — and it gives them, in return, only its rage.
Killer B defeats Gyūki in single combat — and then does what no host had: he treats the Eight-Tails as a partner, not a weapon. It is the first time anyone has offered it that.
Gyūki and B become genuine friends — the first willing partnership in history between a tailed beast and its jinchūriki. The rampaging Eight-Tails becomes calm, dry-humoured, and loyal.
Gyūki and B fight the Fourth Shinobi World War as one — and together they teach Naruto the same lesson, the bond that would let him reach the Nine-Tails in turn.
Gyūki is the second strongest of the nine tailed beasts, and it fights with a tactician's head as much as a beast's power. It can fire the Tailed Beast Ball in volleys, as a wave, or supercharged to many times its size; it strikes and shields with eight octopus-arm tails; and, true to its form, it produces ink to blind enemies or shape into clones. It is also clever enough to coach its jinchūriki through a fight in real time.

True to its octopus form, Gyūki produces ink — to blind its enemies, or to shape into ink clones.
Gyūki's eight octopus-arm tails — used to strike, to grasp an enemy, and to shield its jinchūriki.
Gyūki is intelligent enough to read a fight and coach its jinchūriki through it as it happens.
Gyūki is the most powerful tailed beast after Kurama itself — the strongest of the eight that are not the Nine-Tails.

Gyūki's Tailed Beast attribute is the giveaway — a column hit that only the nine tailed beasts on the board share. Its Village column reads None and its Ninja Rank reads None, and it has no clan and no Kekkei Genkai, so four columns turn grey at once. Its Nature Types column runs Water, Lightning, and Yang. It debuts in the Five Kage Summit era, a late arc, so the Debut Arc arrow points up toward it.

Every host before B tried to cage me. B beat me, looked me in the eye, and asked my name. That is the whole difference.
Watch his right side, fool — Kisame's sword feeds on chakra. I will not say it twice.
Tell the Nine-Tails it can be done. B and I are the proof. A beast and a human, on the same side.
