   When the Sound Four carry Sasuke toward Orochimaru sealed in a barrel, Tayuya is among the guard. The Konoha genin sent to retrieve him have to break through her to reach it.

   Shikamaru's shadow tactics force a long, close duel, and Tayuya has to call on the second stage of her cursed seal to gain the upper hand. For a moment, she is winning.

   Temari arrives to back Shikamaru up. With Tayuya's guard down, a single wind jutsu topples a stand of giant trees onto her, and the flute finally falls silent.

   Death is not the last of her. Kabuto reincarnates Tayuya through Edo Tensei for the Fourth Shinobi World War, turning her flute against the Allied Forces.

Tayuya is a genjutsu-and-summoning fighter who works through a flute, not her fists. Her melodies bind a target's senses and steer three armoured demons at once, and a cursed seal waits in reserve when the music alone is not enough.
