   When Kimimaro dies, Jūgo loses the one person who could hold him steady. Unable to trust himself around others, he shuts himself away in the Sound's Northern Base and will not leave it.

   Sasuke Uchiha can calm Jūgo's rage as Kimimaro once did. For that — and for Sasuke's promise to seek a cure — Jūgo joins his team, Taka, and steps back into the world.

   Jūgo survives the Fourth Shinobi World War. He has not mastered the curse, but he is alive, surrounded by people who can reach him — and still looking for the day he will not need them to.

Jūgo's power and Jūgo's curse are the same thing. His body absorbs natural energy without rest, which lets him enter Sage Transformation — remaking his limbs into cannons, blades, and boosters at will — but also drags him into rages he cannot govern. His blood was strange enough that Orochimaru built the cursed seal from it. Few characters carry a gift so completely double-edged.

  Jūgo is a shinobi of Otogakure and a member of Sasuke Uchiha's team, Taka. Gentle by nature, he is cursed with uncontrollable fits of rage — and his blood was the source Orochimaru used to create the cursed seal.
