   Indra and Asura's conflict outlives both of them, continuing through their reincarnations across the centuries — Madara Uchiha, and later Sasuke, carrying Indra's chakra and his will.

Indra was the first great talent of the new age. He awakened the Sharingan, and then the Mangekyō Sharingan — the doujutsu the entire Uchiha clan would inherit from him — and his mastery of it raised a Complete Body Susanoo vast enough to dwarf a landscape. He carried Hagoromo's chakra and the Six Paths power of the Ōtsutsuki line, and turned all of it into the combat art the world would call ninjutsu.
